Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum and mop combos I've ever tested. Its base station has an impressive water tank and dust bin, and its dual rubber brush is less likely to tangle hair than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is strong and its AI mapping excels in eliminating obstacles. It is also able to stop its cleaning task and resume it where it began.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo J9+ is a robot mop that doubles as a vacuum cleaner that is among the most sophisticated on the market. It comes with an elegant self-emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two mopping cycles at a time and is designed to resemble a tiny table. It's also the only robotic mop we've tested with a built-in water reservoir to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.

The mopping arm rests quietly on the top of the unit until it detects hard floors, then it lowers to begin cleaning. It moves slowly and cautiously over surfaces to ensure that it doesn't accidentally smear wet spills or mud on carpeted areas. It does a great job of staying away from furniture, cords, and other obstacles.

The iRobot Home App is smarter than most robot vacuums. It allows you to modify the settings of your cleaner and also prioritize rooms according to dirtiness, schedule cleaning time and much more. The app provides you with detailed maps of your house with seasonal suggestions, custom cleaning routines, as as smart home integrations that are intuitive.

This robot-vac and mop utilizes iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects such as sofas, counters, and tables. It can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, making it easy to keep your home clean.

Unlike other vacuum and mopping robots, the Roomba j9+ creates a complete map of your home 7x faster than previous models and categorizes each area by floor type, ensuring that it'll always be aware of when to vacuum or mop the area you want. It also has the Turbo Mode that boosts suction for difficult spots. With iRobot's Dirt Detective, it can learn about your cleaning habits and make adjustments to the cleaning priorities and settings for the most soiled areas of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

With its premium features and user-friendly app controls The Yeedi M12 Pro+ is an excellent contender in the world of automatic mop and vacuum robots. Its powerful suction power and advanced mopping technology make it the ideal cleaner for smart homes. Its smart automation and low price make it a good option for families on a budget.

Download and launch the Yeedi App and follow the steps on the screen to connect the M12 to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting, you'll be asked to give your robot a unique name. The M12 only works with 2.4GHz networks.

The M12 provides a variety of cleaning modes for vacuuming and mopping. Its intelligent design allows the M12 to map a space in just six minutes and adjust its cleaning path in accordance with the map. Its mopping technology is advanced and includes two spinning pads, with electronically controlled water as well as a "True Edge Adaptive Edge Mopping System" that helps ensure thorough cleaning of all floor edges.

In terms of navigation, the M12 makes use of LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. The sensors are capable of finding larger objects, like HVAC vents, and furniture. They may struggle to find smaller objects such as cables or small rags. This could cause the robots to miss certain areas.

The M12 is also able to detect and navigate stairs thanks to its built-in inclinometer. It also returns automatically to its OMNI Station to wash and dry mop brushes and replenish its water tank. If the batteries are depleted, the OMNI Station can also clean itself and empty the dustbin when its batteries are empty.

3. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the bleeding edge in robot cleaning, packing a staggering number of features into an elegant package. It comes with the largest mopping capacity and a camera that can be used for improved obstacle avoidance, and a powerful vacuum with the ability to tell when it's sweeping over carpets. It also has advanced capabilities for voice assistant and intelligence.

It's a fantastic mop and vacuum, completing our 1,500 square foot test area in about 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. Its mop is automatically cleaned between uses. This reduces costs for maintenance while keeping the pads clean. In addition to this it has a dock sensor that senses when the mop pad is dirty and initiates the washing cycle to keep it clean.

Like its predecessors as well, like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that recognizes objects of the home, such as shoes and pet waste with cameras and LIDAR combination. It did well during our obstacle avoidance test with only one glitch (it was stuck while unwinding a ball of wool that was tangled around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra features a suction power of 10,000pa, which is more than twice more powerful than its predecessor. This makes it a great choice for homes with lots of carpet and a variety of floor types. The vacuum can be programmed to automatically increase the suction when it moves over dust or crumbs.

Similar to the previous models, multiple docking stations can be installed to automate the cleaning and mopping process. The docking station is connected to the plumbing system, and it will drain and refill the tank of water when you're done.

4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

The Dreame X40 Ultra robot vacuum and mop is the company's latest flagship model. It offers some unique features that its less expensive models do not. It has top-notch suction and mops hard floors with incredible ease. It is equipped with advanced features, including an auto-expanding mop heads and self-detangling brush rollers. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station as well as a dust collector filter. The mop pads will be automatically cleaned and drained in hot water. After each cleaning session, the soiled water tank will also be automatically emptied.

It provides advanced options to customise the cleaning schedule. For instance you can select an exact start and stop time for each cycle, or whether it should be able to vacuum carpets first before mopping.  affordable robot vacuum  can also be told to clean areas that are particularly filthy and choose to boost the suction power around litter boxes for cats as well as pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to accomplish specific tasks, like cleaning a kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side of the brush when it detects wet areas, and remove debris from the edges and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use it, with a simple and intuitive app and a broad range of features. It is quieter than other corded vacuums, and has only occasional low hums from its motor and bursts of suction when cleaning. Its navigation system is awe-inspiring and utilizes an image camera, 3D structured light and multiple lasers to identify and avoid obstacles. this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores for obstacles in our tests.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro has been designed to be an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combo that is also user-friendly. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank with clean water, then empty the dustbin into a smaller bin and washes and dries its own mop pads between cleaning sessions. It also comes with a sophisticated feature set that lets it switch between hard and rugs, effectively remove pet hair and dirt from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.

The S1 Pro's navigation and mapping capabilities are outstanding, and the internal dToF LiDAR device allowing it to maintain a low profile while still offering top-of-the-line objects avoidance. It can drive close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when driving over rugs or short-pile carpets. It had a difficult time when it encountered longer-pile carpets and also some long, thick messes with dried-on debris.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box and only requires the initial mapping run to get it used to your home. Once that's done, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined depending on the need. You can also set up virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go areas if you don't want the robot to touch specific items.

The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors due to its rotary mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it a good option for homes with different types of flooring, but its reliance on a Eufy-branded cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than other robots that let you create your own solutions.
