It also comes with many advanced features, including self-detangling roller brushes and auto-extending mop heads that make it a great option for cleaning hands-free. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are cleaned with hot water, and then drained and the drained water tank is automatically emptied after every cleaning session.
It has some advanced options for modifying the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a specific time to start and end each cycle, or deciding if it should vacuum carpets before mopping. It can be programmed to re-clean dirty areas and to boost suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, such as cleaning a bathroom sink or toilet. It can be programmed to automatically raise the front side brush whenever it detects wet spots, and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and operate, with an easy-to-use and user-friendly app and a broad range of features. It is quieter than many corded vacuums, with only occasional low hums of its motor and bursts of suction when cleaning. The S1 Pro is ready to be used right from the moment you purchase it, and it just requires an easy mapping session to learn about your home. Once it's done the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged when needed. You can also set virtual boundaries and no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you don't want the robot to touch.
The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up messes from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that exerts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop is a great choice for homes that have both types of flooring. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box) makes it less flexible as other robots that allow you to add your own cleaning solutions.
